Détails Produit

Product description: Monoclonal Antibody. Recognizes the Human, Mouse, Rat protein. Liquid. HEPES with 0.15M NaCl, 0.01% BSA, 0.03% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol. TAK1 (transforming growth factor-beta-activated kinase 1) is a MAPKKK activated by TGF-beta, or the pro-inflammatory cytokines TNF (tumour necrosis factor) and IL-1 (interleukin-1), or bacterial LPS (lipopolysacchar-ide). It plays a key role in switching on several pro-inflammatory signaling pathways, including those that activate the MAPKs (mitogen-activated protein kinases), termed p38alpha MAPK, JNK1/2 (c-Jun N-terminal kinase 1/2) and ERK1/2 (extracellular-signal-regulated kinase 1/2), as well as the transcription factor NFkappaB (nuclear factor kappaB). TAB1 (TAK1-binding protein 1) is one of the regulatory subunits of TAK1 and plays a role as an activator of TAK1 in response to stimulation of ?GF-beta. TAB-1 can also mediate MKK-independent p38 kinase. Recently, induction of p38 autophosphorylation and consequent kinase activation by TAB1 expression in cultured neonatal cardiomyocytes have been reported. May be an important signaling intermediate between TGFB receptors and MAP3K7/TAK1. May play an important role in mammalian embryogenesis.

Alternate Names/Synonyms: TAB1; MAP3K7IP1; TAK1-binding Protein 1; TGF-beta-activated Kinase 1-binding Protein 1; TGF-beta-activated Kinase 1 and MAP3K7-binding Protein 1; Mitogen-activated Protein Kinase Kinase Kinase 7-interacting Protein 1
