Product description: Protein. Human ANGPTL7 (aa 1-346) is fused at the C-terminus to a FLAG®-tag. Source: HEK 293 cells. Endotoxin content: <0.1EU/µg purified protein (LAL test; Lonza). Liquid. 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS. Purity: >90% (SDS-PAGE). ANGPTL7 (Angiopoietin-like protein 7) is expressed in various tissues and regulates angiogenesis. Human ANGPTL7 was characterized as a potent target gene of the WNT/beta-catenin signaling pathway, and is a pharmacogenomics target in the fields of oncology and regenerative medicine. Overexpression of ANGPTL7 increases collagen expression and might exert a pathogenic role in glaucoma.
