Product description: Monoclonal Antibody. Isotype: Mouse IgG1. Clone: AHN16.1. Applications: FACS, ICC. 50 mM Sodium Phosphate pH 7.5, 100 mM Potassium Chloride, 150mM NaCl, 5% Glycerol, 0.2% BSA, 0.04% NaN3 (as a preservative). Human CD63 is expressed on activated platelets and also on monocytes and macrophages. CD63 contains four hydrophobic transmembrane regions and is a member of the tetraspan family. CD63 appears to be involved with cell adhesion and associates with VLA-3 and VLA-6 integrins. In a colon cancer model, it has been correlated to metastatic potential.
