Product description: Polyclonal Antibody. Recognizes human cornulin. Detects a band of ~70kDa by Western blot. Source: Rabbit. Applications: IHC, WB. Liquid. In PBS containing 1% BSA and 0.01% sodium azide. Cornulin is a survival factor that participates in the clonogenicity of squamous esophageal epithelium cell lines. It attenuates deoxycholic acid (DCA)-induced apoptotic cell death and the release of calcium. In overexpressed oral squamous carcinoma cell lines, cornulin negatively regulates cell proliferation by the induction of G1 arrest.
