Product description: Polyclonal Antibody. Recognizes the N-terminal half of CTRP9 full-length protein. Detects bands of ~23kDa and ~34kDa by Western blot. Source: Guinea pig. Applications: ELISA, WB. Liquid. 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives. CTRP9 belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. It activates AMPK, AKT and p44/42 MAPK signaling pathways. Expressed predominantly in adipose tissue. Females express higher levels than males. Overexpression of CTRP9 in obese (ob/ob) mice significantly lowered serum glucose levels.
