Product description: Polyclonal Antibody. Recognizes human sirtuin 5 (intact form). Detects a band of ~37kDa by Western blot. Source: Rabbit. Applications: ELISA, WB. Liquid. 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives. Sirtuin 5 is a NAD-dependent protein deacetylase that activates CPS1 and contributes to the regulation of blood ammonia levels during fasting. Can deacetylate cytochrome c and a number of other proteins (in vitro).
