Human Host Cell DNA Detection Kit in tubesExpression of therapeutic proteins in human cells is a cost effective method for production of commercial quantities of a drug substance. However, the manufacturing and purification process of these products leaves the potential for DNA contamination from the host cells. This method utilizes 2mL microfuge tubes and includes our proprietary extraction procedure to isolate residual host cell DNA without the use of iodine or glycogen. There is enough reagent in the kit to analyze 50 samples in duplicate. |
