Shows antimalarial and antitubercular activity. Anticancer compound. Cytotoxic against several cancer cell lines (pro-apoptotic activity). Active against plant pathogene fungi (e.g. P. oryza, Phyt. infestans). Activator of murine T lymphocytes, NK cells and macrophages.
