Product description: Fluorescent substrate for oxidoreductases, especially for Cytochrome P450 family members CYP2C9, CYP2C19, and CYP2E1. Spectral data: lambdaex=333nm; lambdaem=416nm (in methanol). Has been used extensively in high-throughput screens in fluorometric p450 activity assays, and is metabolized to the fluorescent metabolite 7-Hydroxy-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin (HFC) with lambdaex=410nm; lambdaem=538nm.
