Product description: Labionin-containing class III lanthipeptide. Antinociceptive agent. Effective in animal models of nociceptic and inflammatory pain. Does not act through opioid, cannabinoid or descending adrenergic mechanisms. Most likely acts through the vanilloid-sensitive pathway by a novel target. It can be developed for the treatment of neuropathic pain. Weak antibacterial compound.
