Product description: Reagent for the spectrophotometric det. of Ag and Ru. Tridentate ligand that binds metals at three meridional sites giving two adjacent 5-membered MN2C2 chelate rings. It forms complexes with most transition metal ions. It is also a potent inducer of nitrate and nitric oxide (NO) synthase (iNOS) protein and mRNA production in the cultured murine macrophage RAW 264.7 cell line.
